Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been exclusively reengaged by a past client, a respected logistics business based in Penzance. The business currently seeks to recruit a part time Management Accountant to join them on a part time, permanent basis.

The role is anticipated to operate over a flexible 30 hour working week with working patterns to be discussed. The company also promotes a hybrid working arrangement following initial training with details to be discussed with shortlisted

Qualifications

• 12–24 months of experience in a similar role.
• AAT or professionally qualified, or proven vocational experience.
• Good IT aptitude with excellent MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality financial management reports for a multi-income business.
• Assist in the production of year-end financial accounts.
• Develop and improve the company’s accounting systems.
• HMRC reporting.
• Journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Review accounts payable, receivable and nominal ledger transactions.
• Stock reconciliation.
• Assist with year-end audit and ongoing projects.
