Job summary

Trial Balance is seeking an experienced Management Accountant for a permanent part-time role in Truro. The role is 30 hours per week, with a hybrid arrangement offering up to two days remote.

Reporting to the CFO, you will work across multiple sectors, prepare management accounts with commentary, and mentor junior staff. The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or have relevant vocational experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounts with commentary.
• Mentoring junior finance staff.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow forecasting.
• Manufacturing/stock-holding exposure advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of high quality management accounts with commentary
• Mentoring and developing junior members of the finance team
• Assist CFO and SMT on accounting projects
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Cashflow forecasting
• Assisting with budget setting
• Develop system and process improvements
• Cost control
• Month end journal entries and reconciliations
• Preparation cash flow forecasts
• Assist in year end and audit processes
