Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Operations Manager for the Buildings Services team. You will lead day-to-day operations, embed a project delivery culture, and align client, staff and commercial expectations to secure project success across multiple regions.

You will manage risk, oversee financial performance, drive governance on contracts and variations, and champion SHEQ. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder collaboration and the ability to deliver value on major programmes

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, across functions.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to implement process improvements and drive change initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support Building Services team by promoting client- and project-centered culture and represent the business internally and externally as appropriate.
• Manage risk and opportunity through effective control and review measures.
• Provide operational oversight on workload, utilisation, reporting, and performance across projects.
• Champion SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) performance and embed policy compliance within delivery.
• Guide commercial governance, budgets, cost-to-complete and revenue management across major projects.
