Qualifications

• IaC principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript and PostgreSQL for automation.
• Knowledge of network and security technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewall configs).
• Familiarity with load balancing, caching and cloud services.
• Experience with automation/CI tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Git.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with change and version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing network automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Developing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates to ensure consistent network configurations.
• Collaborating with teams to identify automation opportunities and translate requirements into scalable processes.
• Overseeing the lifecycle of automation projects from conception through to deployment and support.
• Conducting pre-release and post-release testing to identify and mitigate potential issues.
• Building and maintaining an automation framework that supports self-service capabilities for internal customers.
• Documenting automation processes and maintaining version control to ensure reliable infrastructure.
• Researching emerging technologies in network automation to propose initiatives that enhance our capabilities.
• Supporting the technology stack used in our automation platforms through BAU and bug fix activities.
