Job summary

BT Group is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and deliver Infrastructure as Code solutions, leading the automation of network, cloud and infrastructure services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reusable frameworks, promote best practices, and influence automation strategy across the organisation.

The role supports a hybrid working model with time split between office and home, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Design and implement automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code tools.
Lead automation of network, cloud and infrastructure services across enterprise environments.
Develop reusable automation frameworks and governance controls.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver automation solutions using IaC tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Git and CI/CD.
Lead automation of network, cloud and infrastructure services at scale.
Partner with network, platform and delivery teams to create reusable frameworks and testing approaches.
Troubleshoot automation challenges and promote best practices across teams.
Provide technical leadership through design reviews and knowledge sharing.
