Job summary

CityFibre is looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 specialist to operate, improve and evolve the Microsoft 365 platform across Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview and Copilot. You will join a security‑minded team and own identity, endpoint management and automation, delivering secure, scalable services.

This hybrid role is based in the UK with home/office balance; you’ll work from Telford two days a week and help empower colleagues with third‑line support, PowerShell automation, and

Qualifications

• Experience integrating and managing Microsoft 365 services across Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview and Copilot.
• Proven ability to manage identity, authentication and access controls with Conditional Access and governance.
• Hands‑on experience with device management via Autopilot and compliance/configuration deployment.
• Strong security and compliance knowledge including DLP and information protection.
• Proficiency using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph for automation, reporting and administration.
• Track record of providing third‑line support for complex Microsoft 365 incidents.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve Microsoft 365 services across Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive.
• Strengthen security, data protection and governance with Defender, Purview and DLP.
• Provide third‑line support and guidance to the helpdesk; mentor on best practices.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.
• Assist in enabling Copilot governance while maintaining compliance and security.
