Job summary

Precept Recruit is seeking a Permanent, full-time Microsoft 365 & Cloud Administrator in Derby, East Midlands with hybrid flexibility. The role focuses on Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Azure, delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions and supporting security compliance.

You'll manage Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune, Azure and Purview; participate in security incidents and drive digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Azure.
• Security and compliance knowledge, including Purview.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Microsoft certifications (MS-102, AZ-104, SC-300) desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder communication.

What you will be doing

As a Microsoft 365 & Cloud Administrator, you will be integral to maintaining and enhancing our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable IT solutions while supporting ongoing security compliance and digital initiatives.

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID, including user lifecycle, MFA, and Conditional Access policies
• Support and maintain Microsoft Intune for device management and compliance
• Manage Azure cloud resources and ensure security best practices are followed
• Configure and support Microsoft Purview data governance and compliance controls
• Participate in security incident response and vulnerability management activities
• Contribute to digital transformation projects and continuous improvements in IT infrastructure
