Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking an MEP Engineer to join their on-site team. You will shape mechanical, electrical, and process functions across water projects, contributing to commissioning strategies and handover activities.

The role involves collaborating with design, construction, and operations teams, with opportunities to travel to sites within the region and develop professionally in a growing firm.

Qualifications

• ONC/HNC in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering (or suitable equivalent).
• MEP/work in water industry experience is desirable.
• Understand MEP engineering across civil project lifecycles.
• Excellent organization and problem-solving to fault-find control systems.
• Strong communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work with project teams and subcontractors.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.
• ECS and SSSTS training can be offered to suitable candidates.

Responsibilities

• Plan and program the MEP aspects of projects with design and ops teams.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure installations meet standards during construction.
• Create commissioning plans and testing records for handover.
• Support design, planning, installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Contribute to project completion and plant reliability reviews with clients.
