Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Reading area team, helping deliver water and wastewater projects across the UK. You will work on mechanical installations from concept design through commissioning, ensuring QA/QC compliance and integration with civil engineering elements.

You’ll contribute to frame­works and projects, support safety procedures, and mentor junior engineers while travelling to sites as required.

Qualifications

• CSCS is required.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Working towards professional registration.
• Understand civil engineering principles.
• Knowledge of British & International Standards including Client and WIMES.

Responsabilités

• Deliver mechanical installations on process plants, integrating design, construction and commissioning.
• Manage construction-phase activities including outage planning and subcontractor oversight.
• Lead QA through ITPs, acceptance documents and completion documentation.
• Commission mechanical plant and ensure 'As Constructed' status with proper handover docs.
• Support and develop Mechanical Engineers within the team.
