Job summary

WGM Engineering Ltd, part of RSK Group, is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our Technical & Design team on a permanent contract based in Glasgow with Hybrid Working arrangements.

In this role you will support production of discipline-specific engineering design deliverables for Mechanical, Electrical, ICA and Civil projects within the Water Industry, from concept through to detailed design, commissioning and completion.

Responsibilities

• Support the design team and produce designs and associated deliverables for a range of Engineering projects.
• Ensure that all design work is completed in compliance with all QA Policies, Procedures and Specifications.
• Attend sites when required to assist with surveys and data gathering.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external key contacts to maximise efficiencies and identify opportunities.
• Integrate and perform as a key member of a multi-disciplinary design team.
