Job summary

Expleo Group in the UK seeks an Embedded Mechanical Design Engineer to support defence and aerospace programmes, translating customer needs into robust system requirements within a multidisciplinary Systems Engineering team. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent, experience with CATIA V5 and MBD, and ability to work across lifecycle stages.

Onsite with some home-working; DV clearance is required.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant qualification.
• Defence domain experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 and MBD is required.
• Experience across product lifecycle stages and manufacturability knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design activities within a Systems Engineering team for missile projects.
• Collaborate across disciplines to translate customer needs into robust requirements.
• Support design for manufacture and evaluate materials and processes.
• Adhere to standards and ensure quality and reliability throughout the lifecycle.
