Job summary

Expleo Group is looking for an experienced Electromechanical Design Engineer at their Glasgow facility. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge electro-optical systems, supporting the full design lifecycle from concept to manufacture.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering required.
• Experience in delivering electromechanical design in regulated environments.
• Proficiency in CAD software is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electromechanical assemblies.
• Collaborate with various engineering teams for integration.
• Produce 3D CAD models and detailed drawings.

Skills

Strong mechanical design fundamentals

CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor)

Understanding of DFM/DFA

Ability to work with electronics and systems teams

Understanding of tolerance stack-up principles

Education

Degree level qualification in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering

HNC/HND with relevant experience
