Job summary

Europa Worldwide Group is seeking a Customer Service Operator for its Cambridge branch to build and maintain relationships with customers and manage day-to-day operations in a performance-driven environment.

You will act as the first point of contact for your portfolio, provide timely updates via phone or email, and ensure quotes and consignments align with HMRC requirements while pursuing opportunities to enhance gross margins.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Commercial Office experience, ideally with exposure to a logistics role
• Strong communication skills (phone and email) and ability to manage customer relationships
• A proactive approach to driving sales and improving gross profit margins
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and meet service levels and targets

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for the assigned portfolio of customers.
• Communicate updates to customers by phone or email.
• Manage the customer service cycle from start to finish, ensuring quotes and consignments comply with HMRC rules.
• Provide quotes to meet customer requirements in changing scenarios.
• Ensure commodity codes and invoices are correct and ready for dispatch.
• Proactively engage with existing customers to generate income.
• Respond promptly to problems or concerns within required turnaround times.
