Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in managing legal recovery claims is advantageous.
• Familiarity with case management systems and document drafting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming damage claims from external stakeholders, ensuring information is complete.
• Handle a personal caseload from instruction to final resolution with documentation and SLAs.
• Conduct early-stage claim analysis to determine liability and potential recovery value.
• Negotiate settlements with third parties, insurers, and legal representatives to protect the organisation’s interests.
• Prepare case files for litigation if needed, including pleadings and witness statements.
• Gather evidence by reviewing technical documents and liaising with internal teams.
• Maintain regular contact with engineers, surveyors, contractors and claims specialists.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory standards, and internal policy.
• Use case management software to manage documentation and reporting.
