Job summary

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) in Cannock is seeking a dynamic Liaison Lead for the West Talking Therapies, working 22.5 hours per week. The role offers autonomy, cross-service liaison, and leadership within TT services, with a small clinical caseload and supervision duties.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to liaise between primary and secondary care to move patients between TT services
• Experience as a psychological therapist with adherence to NICE guidelines
• Ability to supervise and contribute to teaching and training within the service

Responsibilities

• Make decisions on the suitability of new referrals and match to appropriate TT services
• Formulate, implement and evaluate individual therapy programmes
• Attend inter-service meetings regarding referrals
• Liaise with health and social care staff across agencies
• Promote and maintain links with Trust services to coordinate TT provision
• Provide specialist advice to professionals within the Trust and NGOs
• Contribute to teaching and training of mental health professionals
