Job summary

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic leader for the South Staffordshire Talking Therapies service. You will help integrate primary and secondary care, lead a team of therapists, and maintain strong links with MPFT and external partners.

You will also carry a small clinical caseload and provide supervision, contributing to service development and staff training within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Essential: High intensity talking therapies qualification (postgraduate) and TT practitioner competencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, families, and colleagues.
• UK registered professional status is required.

Responsibilities

• Make decisions on the suitability of new referrals and allocate to appropriate services.
• Formulate and evaluate individual therapy programmes for patients between primary and secondary care.
• Attend inter-service meetings regarding referrals and coordinate care.
• Liaise with health and social care staff across agencies to support referrals.
• Promote links across the Trust to ensure effective psychological therapies service delivery.
