Job summary

West London Mental Health Trust is seeking a Senior High Intensity Therapist/Modality Practitioner/Lead Counsellor to join the Hounslow Talking Therapies service. This role combines direct clinical work with supervision and leadership in a busy NHS setting.

The post requires accredited CfD/DIT practice and the ability to supervise either CfD or DIT therapists, with chances to oversee service development, build GP partnerships, and support the Clinical Lead in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Accredited in Counselling for Depression (CfD) and Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT).
• Qualified to supervise either CfD or DIT therapist.
• Experience as an NHS Talking Therapies Modality Practitioner or counsellor is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and line management for modality practitioners.
• Lead service development initiatives for priority groups and improve pathways.
• Maintain a caseload while ensuring high-quality therapy and system efficiency.
