Job summary

West London NHS Trust is recruiting a Modality Practitioner/Counselling Lead for the Hounslow NHS Talking Therapies service. You will supervise, manage caseloads, and drive service development while maintaining high-quality care. Accredited CfD or DIT therapists with supervision qualifications are encouraged to apply.

The role involves leading clinical supervision, line management, stakeholder engagement, and implementing new systems within a dynamic, diverse NHS Talking Therapies environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS, or post graduate training in another core mental health profession (nursing, Occupational therapy).
• Essential: Professional registration with the appropriate Health and Care Professions Council, if applicable to core professional training.
• Essential: Qualification in PCE-CfD or other modalities offered in NHS Talking Therapies and accredited by BACP or UKCP.
• Essential: You must have PCE-CfD or DIT supervision qualification accredited by BACP or UKCP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance high standard of care through delivery of high-quality therapy and efficient service operation.
• Provide clinical supervision and line management; develop and implement new systems and workflows.
• Lead service development initiatives for priority groups and strengthen partnerships with Third sector and stakeholders.
• Support co-production and carer initiatives and contribute to quality improvement.
