Job summary

Money and Pensions Service in Bedford is seeking a Learning Designer to design and develop training across digital and blended formats. The role focuses on translating business needs into effective learning aligned to the Money Guidance Competency Framework, supporting a national training offer and a growing external network.

The postholder will lead end-to-end development, collaborate with SMEs and content teams, and ensure accessibility and quality across all outputs.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in learning and training design across formats.
• Experience with LMS/LXP platforms and creating digital/blended solutions using Adapt, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Synthesia, Camtasia.
• Ability to translate complex content into engaging learning experiences.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders and content developers.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop pedagogically sound training solutions across digital and non-digital formats (eLearning, webinars, workshops, microlearning, video, assessments).
• Manage end-to-end process for transforming learner needs into deliverable training output.
• Ensure content aligns with defined outcomes and competency frameworks.
• Produce high-quality learning outputs (storyboards, scripts, materials, prototypes).
• Collaborate with SMEs, learners, authors, trainers, and content producers to co-create training solutions.
