Job summary

WSP is seeking a senior lighting professional to lead multi-disciplinary design teams within the Lighting and Energy Solutions group. You will coordinate detailed designs, produce feasibility and option reports, and ensure compliance with QA standards and client requirements.

You will build strong relationships with Local Authority and STR clients while guiding early career professionals. The role offers opportunities for professional membership, CPD, and advanced training within a global

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects and teams in a design environment.
• Strong knowledge of external lighting and electrical design standards.
• Experience in lighting maintenance operations and asset management.
• Proficient in lighting design from concept to construction using Lighting Reality/Dialux and AutoCAD.
• Ability to manage CDM and financial risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and teams within Lighting and Energy Solutions.
• Coordinate detailed design layouts and support documentation.
• Prepare feasibility reports, optioneering reports, and specs.
• Oversee proposals and progress against milestones and budgets.
• Engage with Local Authority and Strategic Road Network clients.
• Coach and develop junior team members.
