Job summary

WSP is hiring Lighting Engineers from Engineer to Principal Engineer levels to support Local Government and Strategic Road Network capabilities across the UK. You will deliver detailed lighting design packages, liaise with clients and manufacturers, and guide junior team members in a multi-disciplinary environment.

The role offers opportunities to work on landmark projects with a global network, regular CPD and advanced training, and flexible working arrangements including hybrid office/home

Qualifications

• Proficient in Lighting Reality, Dialux and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of external lighting standards, guidance and regulations.
• Experience in lighting design from conception through to construction issue.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed design layouts, drawings and support docs per QA and client requirements.
• Prepare feasibility reports, option reports and specifications.
• Engage with luminaire, column, controls and electrical manufacturers.
