Job summary

Cardiff Council is seeking a Learning & Development Trainer to join the Cardiff Academy Team. The role is hybrid with a base at County Hall, Atlantic Wharf, Cardiff, CF10 4UW, and home-based time.

You will deliver First Aid, Corporate Induction, Application and Interview Techniques, and Recruitment & Selection Panel Training to Council employees, with flexibility as priorities evolve. Training will be tailored to departmental needs and you will receive training to deliver all courses effectively.

Qualifications

• Deliver a broad range of courses such as First Aid, Corporate Induction, Application and Interview Techniques, and Recruitment & Selection Panel Training.
• There is a current focus on First Aid delivery and will adapt to other courses as priorities evolve.
• Receive training to deliver all courses effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Cardiff Academy to align training with departmental needs.
• Deliver training as part of HR People Services and ensure high-quality outcomes.
