Job summary

Xelix is seeking a junior DevOps Engineer to help manage and optimize our SaaS platform. You will work with the DevOps team to improve CI/CD, automate processes, and maintain high availability across production AWS workloads.

The role offers a hybrid setup with a focus on learning and rapid impact. You’ll collaborate with in-house developers and AI Engineering to improve observability, security, and deployment reliability while advancing your Terraform and AWS skills in a fast-paced scale-up

Qualifications

• A strong foundation in DevOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with Python/Django deployments and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Postgres/RDS database operations.
• Good troubleshooting and collaborative skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work well with the team.

Responsibilities

• Operate production AWS workloads.
• Provision, upgrade and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Release engineering: maintain/improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
• Support the Development and AI Engineering teams; troubleshoot issues.
• Bring observability with dashboards, alerting and log aggregation.
• Run incident analyses and post mortems.
