Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking an IT Systems Technologist in Birmingham to join a growing UK transport business. You will balance maintaining critical systems with delivering improvements that modernise the IT environment.

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will manage Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows Server, support network infrastructure, implement security policies and drive projects with third‑party suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Windows Server administration and experience.
• Cloud technologies and infrastructure support.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining critical business systems and delivering improvements that modernise the IT environment.
• Managing and supporting Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows Server environments.
• Supporting network infrastructure and ensuring systems work seamlessly together.
• Monitoring the IT estate and resolving incidents to keep services running smoothly.
• Delivering infrastructure projects in partnership with the Head of IT.
