Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking an IT Support Analyst in Southampton on a hybrid basis, combining 3 days on site with 2 days working from home. You will be the first point of contact for IT support, helping colleagues across locations and resolving day-to-day technical issues while maintaining core IT systems.

The role offers variety, ownership of problems and opportunities to develop; you'll gain experience across Windows devices, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and hardware, with on-call

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 installation and configuration.
• Experience with Active Directory.
• Experience with PC hardware support.
• Basic networking concepts.
• Provide excellent customer service in a busy support environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for IT support, providing first and second line support across a broad range of technologies and users.
• Resolve IT incidents and service requests from end users.
• Install, configure and support Windows devices, Microsoft 365 and business applications.
• Support Active Directory administration.
• Maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices and associated hardware.
• Carry out daily system health checks and monitor backups.
• Escalate complex issues and see them through to resolution.
• Maintain technical documentation.
• Support IT projects as the team grows.
• Visit other company sites when required.
• Participate in an on-call rota.
