Job summary

Dains IT is seeking a Regional Support Engineer for the Midlands to lead IT support across our offices. You will manage networks, servers, and cloud services, delivering timely technical support both onsite and remotely.

The role requires 3–5 years in IT support or infrastructure management, with strong Cisco Meraki and Windows/Azure expertise. A collaborative, proactive mindset and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
3–5 years IT Support, infrastructure management, or similar role.
Proven experience managing regional or multi-site IT operations.

Responsibilities

Be the main IT contact for Midlands offices.
Maintain and troubleshoot network systems, servers, and storage.
Ensure availability and reliability of IT services including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls and cloud-based systems.
Provide technical support to employees within the region, onsite and remotely.
Coordinate hardware/software procurement, maintenance and upgrades.
Collaborate with national IT team to deploy new technologies and standards.
Ensure regional compliance with IT policies, procedures and security protocols.
Track and manage IT assets and lifecycle management.
Provide regular reports on regional IT performance and incidents to senior management.
