Job summary

Focus Group is hiring an IT Account Manager to sell AI, IT, cyber security solutions to established customers across the South region. The role blends field and office work, with a hybrid pattern based in Shoreham-by-Sea and nearby offices.

You’ll qualify opportunities, shape the solution, and close deals in a fast-growing tech scale-up backed by private equity. The team uses MEDDICC coaching and in-house Copilot sales support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience selling IT and cyber security solutions.
• 2+ years of consultative B2B sales with a proven record of closing.
• Experience closing deals worth £10k to £100k+.
• Confidence selling to several stakeholders at once.
• Track record of growing accounts.
• Team player who enjoys working in a pod.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery meetings and shape IT solutions around what each customer needs.
• Work with IT managers, CTOs and finance directors on the same deal.
• Build ROI (return on investment) business cases and close deals from £10k to £100k+.
• Find new opportunities inside your existing accounts.
• Agree account strategy with your pod and share its revenue targets.
