Bishop Fleming is expanding in Birmingham and seeks an Internal Audit Assistant Manager to join our new office. You will lead internal audit engagements across public sector and corporate clients, and help develop a growing audit team with coaching and recruitment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a broad portfolio of audit clients across public sector and corporate sectors.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to develop the audit team.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with clients at all levels.
• Organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as required, and a collaborative team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan and deliver a broad range of public sector and corporate internal audit engagements.
• Help develop the internal audit team through coaching, mentoring and recruitment.
• Monitor budgets and agree fees for each assignment.
• Manage client relationships and ensure a quality service is delivered.
• Contribute to business development in the sectors you operate.
