NHS Jobs in Kent is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Assistant Manager to join our Finance Team at the Kings Hill office. This hybrid role offers two days in the office and three days working from home, with exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to progress into Internal Audit Management.

You will lead audits across financial, operational and compliance risks, including revenue, payroll, IT governance and procurement, delivering clear, value-adding reports.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk or Finance.
• Experience leading audit assignments independently.
• Strong understanding of financial controls and risk management.
• Excellent report writing and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel to services across the UK.

Responsabilités

• Audit planning and delivery across financial, operational, and compliance controls.
• Lead reviews of revenue, occupancy reporting, funding and contract compliance.
• Manage payroll controls and agency staffing governance.
• Oversee IT governance, cybersecurity, and change management audits.
• Support estates, procurement, and capital expenditure audits.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and data analytics.
