Pro Finance is partnering with a respected mid-tier accountancy practice in Maidstone, Kent, seeking an Audit Manager or Senior Audit Manager to join the growing Maidstone office. The role covers managing client portfolios, leading audits, and coaching junior staff, with a clear path toward Director-level progression.

You'll work with recognisable Kent and South East clients, benefit from a supportive leadership team and hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification mandatory.
• Strong external audit experience gained in UK practice.
• Experience managing audit assignments and teams.
• Confident in building and maintaining client relationships.
• Strong technical and commercial awareness.
• Motivated by progression and taking on greater responsibility.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of sectors.
• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and build long-term relationships.
• Review work prepared by junior team members and provide coaching and support.
• Resolve technical accounting and audit matters.
• Manage budgets, WIP and engagement profitability.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Support the growth and development of the audit team.
