Cygnet is seeking an Internal Audit Assistant Manager for the Kings Hill office in Kent. This hybrid role combines two days in the office with three days at home, reporting to the Group Internal Audit Manager.

You will lead risk-based internal audits across healthcare, support, and corporate functions, focusing on key controls in revenue, payroll, IT, and procurement to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Significant Internal Audit/External Audit/Risk/Finance experience.
• Experience leading audit assignments independently.
• Strong understanding of financial controls and risk.
• Excellent report writing and stakeholder management.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Willing to travel across the UK.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
• Attention to detail and good time management.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Audit planning, delivery, and reporting across functions.
• Evaluate effectiveness of financial, operational and compliance controls.
• Identify control weaknesses and improvements, produce practical reports.
• Lead audits on revenue, payroll, agency staffing and IT controls.
• Support continuous improvement and data analytics.
