Job summary

The AA is hiring a Sales Customer Service Advisor in Newcastle, with hybrid work after achieving competency (3 days per week in the office). The salary is £26,550 plus performance incentives up to £9,600, with a full-time permanent contract and 40 hours per week across Monday–Friday and Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• No prior insurance knowledge required; full training provided.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Willingness to learn and hit targets.

Responsibilities

• Talk to new customers who are interested in taking out AA Motor or Home Insurance.
• Listen and ask questions to understand each customer’s needs.
• Confidently discuss price, cover and available options.
• Help customers find the right level of protection for their needs.
• Explain the value of AA Insurance and enable informed choices.
• Spot opportunities to discuss other products where suitable.
• Work toward customer and business targets while upholding integrity.
• Take ownership of each conversation and follow processes and regulatory requirements.
