Job summary

Gattaca in London is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance a complex enterprise environment. You will work across networking, VMware, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, cloud connectivity and infrastructure projects to deliver resilient and secure solutions.

The role is contract-based and London-based with hybrid working (3–4 days onsite). Occasional travel may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking, routing, switching, VLANs, and firewalls.
• Expertise in VMware ESXi and storage technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of Azure networking and ExpressRoute.
• Ability to document infrastructure and troubleshoot complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve complex enterprise infrastructure across on-prem and cloud.
• Own project delivery and BAU activities ensuring resilience and security.
• Collaborate with networking, virtualization, and identity teams.
• Produce clear documentation and runbooks for operations.
