Job summary
Biometric Talent Ltd is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a technology team responsible for a broad, modern hybrid infrastructure estate in Bradford. The role covers cloud, on‑premises infrastructure, networking, security and Microsoft technologies to build and maintain secure, resilient platforms.
You will split time between the Bradford office and remote collaboration, with one day per week in the office and occasional travel.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with modern hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Strong experience with on-premises servers, storage and virtualization.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (PaaS and IaaS).
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, switching, firewalls, routing and network security.
- Experience in monitoring, proactive issue resolution and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Implementing, developing and maintaining Azure PaaS and IaaS infrastructure.
- Manage on-premises and private cloud infrastructure including virtualization platforms.
- Oversee networking, storage, backup and recovery platforms.
- Collaborate with Service Desk and Application Support as SME escalation point.
- Document technical architectures and share knowledge across teams.
