Job summary

Sweco is seeking a talented Civil Infrastructure Design Engineer to join our team across Ipswich, London or Solent offices. You will deliver drainage and highway schemes, coordinate with utilities and other disciplines, and drive technical delivery with increasing project responsibility.

Ideal candidates have a good understanding of flood risk management, experience in infrastructure design, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and drainage software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred).
• Experience designing drainage, earthworks and highways.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Auto Tracking and InfoDrainage.
• Knowledge of Flood Risk Assessments and relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail drainage and infrastructure schemes for various projects (highways, residential, commercial).
• Perform hydraulic and hydrological calculations and compile submission packages.
• Prepare reports, drawings and technical submissions for planning and construction.
• Coordinate with utilities and multidisciplinary teams; attend client meetings and present findings.
