Job summary

Lancashire Constabulary is seeking a proactive ICT Client Support Officer to join the Digital Services Department on a temporary basis for 6 months. The role focuses on delivering high-quality 2nd line technical support and customer service, ensuring critical systems stay operational across the organisation.

The successful candidate will diagnose faults, upgrade equipment, and provide guidance to users while complying with internal controls and ICT policies.

Qualifications

• ITIL Foundation Certification or willingness to work towards within 12 months.
• Experience with current IT infrastructure, applications and systems.
• Experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally.
• Strong communication across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line ICT support to the organisation.
• Maintain, diagnose faults, repair and upgrade ICT equipment and services.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers, stakeholders and ICT staff.
• Adhere to internal control systems and ICT policies.
• Contribute to design, installation and support of ICT systems.
