Job summary
Stantec in the UK is actively seeking Hydraulic Engineers to support AMP8 water infrastructure programmes. You'll contribute to hydraulic studies, modelling and pumping solutions for large projects and work with multidisciplinary teams across national programmes.
You will mentor engineers and provide trusted technical advice while developing innovative, sustainable engineering approaches for water and wastewater systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in hydraulic engineering and water/wastewater projects.
- Proficiency with hydraulic software such as Hades, VARISM, Flow-3D.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and build client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Deliver hydraulic studies, modelling and transient analysis for major infrastructure projects.
- Develop innovative solutions for pumping systems, pipelines, hydraulic structures and conveyance assets.
- Apply specialist software such as Hades, VARISM, Flow-3D.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across nationally significant water programmes.
- Build relationships with clients and provide trusted technical advice.
- Mentor and develop engineers while contributing to technical excellence.
