Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer (HVAC / Refrigeration) in Ipswich to blend technical acumen with business development and account management.

You will develop new opportunities across the HVAC market, manage existing accounts and visit sites to tailor technical solutions, with progression toward senior commercial leadership. Hybrid working, company car and training are available.

Qualifications

• HVAC or Refrigeration background essential.
• Experience in Technical Sales with proven client development.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation abilities.
• Experience conducting site visits and understanding customer requirements.
• Ability to prepare quotations, proposals and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across the HVAC market.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts through regular engagement.
• Build relationships with contractors, consultants and end users.
• Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements and recommend technical solutions.
