Job summary

DS Smith in Caerphilly is seeking an experienced HR Services Operations Team Leader to oversee our HR Operations team within the Shared Services Centre. You will drive service excellence, lead recruitment onboarding, and ensure timely HR administration across the business.

The role requires strong HR processes knowledge, data integrity, GDPR compliance, and a collaborative approach to build strong stakeholder relationships. Hybrid working, Monday–Friday, with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR Operations, Shared Services or People Services.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle administration.
• Experience working with HR systems and employee data.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR Operations team to meet service delivery targets.
• Oversee recruitment administration, onboarding and contract changes.
• Monitor SLAs and act as first escalation for complex HR queries.
• Maintain accurate HR data, reporting and compliance with GDPR and policies.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, Recruitment and L&D teams on HR projects.
