Job summary

Aspinal of London is seeking an HR & Payroll Advisor to be the first point of contact for HR across the business, supporting the Head of People & Talent as well as the Payroll Manager. The role blends hands-on admin with advisory duties and deputising when needed.

You will manage employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, contracts, and payroll activities across ~250 employees, in a hybrid setup requiring in-office attendance at the West Sussex head office on Thursdays and occasional travel to

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a generalist HR role with hands-on ER casework experience.
• Previous payroll exposure.
• CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards).
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and family-leave rules.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for HR queries from ~250 employees and managers and provide advisory support.
• Run onboarding, onboarding offboarding and variations with Head of People on senior contracts.
• Support recruitment with hiring managers and peak seasonal hiring.
• Provide accurate payroll inputs and resolve exceptions while ensuring records are audit-ready.
