Job summary

Iceland Foods Ltd is seeking two committed HR Case Managers to join our team, based at Deeside with some flexibility for remote work. You will manage long-term absence cases, advise managers on complex people matters and support with investigations in line with UK law.

You'll work as part of the HR team, prioritising cases, meeting SLAs, and coaching managers in people management, while ensuring compliance with Iceland's policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing a range of complex HR cases.
• Comprehensive up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and its implications for employers.
• Confident communication with people at all levels, coaching and collaborative style.

Responsibilities

• Act as a fully participating member of the HR team supporting HR and liaising with stakeholders.
• Manage a portfolio of cases, scheduling and prioritising activities based on deadlines.
• Provide support to Managers or act as HR lead on complex people matters, including hearings and appeals.
• Ensure good employment practice through clear advice in line with policies and guidelines.
• Adopt a pragmatic approach to solutions while considering legal/regulatory requirements.
• Work autonomously and seek advice when required.
• Coach managers in people management, including communication and fair decision making.
• Review letters/documents for hearings and provide feedback to Managers.
• Record case management details accurately in the Case Management System and drive cases to conclusion.
• Collaborate with field-based Case Manager colleagues to ensure consistency.
• Meet or exceed all applicable SLAs.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as requested.
