Job summary

Worcester City Council is seeking two Customer and Systems Support Advisors (Housing) to join the Housing & Homelessness Service. You will be the first point of contact for residents, delivering practical housing advice and handling applications across Housing Register, homelessness services and temporary accommodation.

This role requires strong customer service, good IT skills, and the ability to work with partners such as housing officers and landlords.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to help a wide range of enquiries and stay organised.
• Strong IT skills and confidence using multiple housing databases.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers via phone, email and in person.
• Support Housing Register applications, homelessness services and temporary accommodation.
• Maintain accurate records across housing systems.
• Collaborate with Housing Officers, providers and landlords to ensure timely support.
