Niyaa People Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established housing association in Cambridgeshire for a Housing Officer role. You will take ownership of tenancy matters, including rent and income collection, anti-social behaviour, and resident support, with a visible local presence.

The role requires experience in generic housing management and strong communication skills. You will work in a hybrid structure with some desk-based tasks and travel across Cambridgeshire as needed.

Formación

• Proven experience as Housing Officer within a housing association.
• Strong knowledge of generic housing management and tenancy issues.
• Experience managing rent arrears and income collection.
• Experience handling anti-social behaviour cases.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a designated housing patch of properties.
• Deliver a proactive generic housing management service.
• Manage tenancy matters from enquiry to resolution.
• Monitor and manage rent arrears and income collection.
• Investigate and manage anti-social behaviour cases.
• Visit residents and provide support and advice.
• Maintain a visible presence in the local community.
• Identify tenancy breaches and take appropriate action.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies.
• Maintain records and complete housing management administration.
• Prioritise a varied caseload and urgent matters.
• Build positive relationships with residents and promote sustainable tenancies.
• Attend meetings, inspections and other appointments in Cambridgeshire.
