Durham County Council is seeking an enthusiastic Community Project Coordinator to support the Shildon and Newton Aycliffe Strategic Heritage Place Programme, a national Lottery Heritage Fund initiative. The role is temporary for 18 months and based at Locomotion, Shildon, with hybrid working available.

You will help bring together communities, heritage organisations and local partners to develop projects, coordinate activities, support evaluation and reporting, and strengthen local heritage

Qualificações

• Experience of project coordination or management.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of people.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records and communicate with partners and communities.
• Experience with working with community organisations, volunteers or partner networks; interest in heritage and place-based regeneration.
