Job summary

LPPA is seeking a Head of Pensions Systems to drive the strategic direction, development and operational capability of the Civica UPM platform. You will manage day-to-day relationships with Civica and other technology partners to keep systems robust, compliant, scalable and aligned to LPPA’s strategy.

You will build and lead a Pensions Systems team responsible for configuration, workflows, automation, data integrity and member/employer portals, enabling LPPA to deliver excellent pension services

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing a pension administration system (UPM preferred).
• Understanding of UK pension administration processes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in system configuration, workflow design and governance.
• Leadership experience of a support and/or development team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical product owner for the UPM system and portals.
• Oversee release management, testing and safe deployment of changes.
• Lead the Pensions Systems team to deliver high-quality support.
• Monitor SLAs and drive continuous service improvement.
• Manage incident, request, problem and change management per ITIL 4.
• Drive workflow automation to reduce manual processes.
• Own development and enhancement of Member and Employer Portals.
• Manage relationships with Civica and technology suppliers.
• Collaborate with external organisations to share best practice.
