Job summary

LPPA is seeking a Head of AI to shape the strategy, governance and operating model for responsible AI adoption across a major UK pensions administration organisation. You will lead the AI function, collaborating with the CTO, executives and stakeholders to prioritise, fund and deliver AI opportunities that improve efficiency for colleagues and outcomes for members and clients.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in AI, technology, digital transformation or related field.
• Experience developing and delivering AI or technology strategies in complex organisations.
• Experience establishing governance, risk, assurance or control frameworks for emerging tech.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI, data protection, cyber security and ethics.
• Experience leading technical or specialist teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop LPPA's AI strategy, roadmap and implementation plans aligned to priorities.
• Advise executives on AI opportunities, risks, ethics and investment priorities.
• Shape LPPA's AI operating model with clear governance and accountability.
• Identify AI, automation and analytics opportunities to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Monitor AI developments and translate regulation into practical recommendations.
• Lead delivery of AI initiatives with well-governed resources and governance.
• Drive AI adoption, training and literacy across LPPA and partners.
