Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Facilities Management team with hybrid working options across offices. You will identify, qualify and win Hard FM opportunities, building trusted client relationships and shaping solutions to support Kier's growth.

Responsibilities include pipeline development, bid shaping, delivering credible delivery solutions and pricing, while collaborating with operational and commercial teams to ensure competitive proposals and smooth

Qualifications

Proven experience in Business Development, Work Winning or Bid Shaping within Hard FM, Engineering Services or Building Services Maintenance.
Strong technical understanding of Hard FM service lines, statutory compliance and asset maintenance regimes.
Track record of contributing to or leading FM bids and contract awards.
Commercial awareness with experience in pricing, risk assessment and value propositions.
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of Hard FM opportunities across sectors including public sector, healthcare, education and commercial estates.
Lead bid/no-bid decision making and develop compelling win themes aligned to client needs such as compliance, service continuity and social value.
Develop credible delivery solutions with operational and technical teams covering maintenance, compliance and asset lifecycle planning.
Collaborate with estimating and commercial teams to develop robust pricing models and support contract negotiations.
Build trusted client relationships and lead presentations, ensuring smooth handover into mobilisation and delivery.
