Job summary

Chilworth Partnership is seeking a commercially minded Group Financial Controller in Andover to lead a sizeable finance function, ensuring robust financial control, high-quality reporting, governance and strategic business partnering with senior stakeholders.

The role reports to the senior leadership team and drives budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning, while delivering improvements in systems, processes and data quality in a hybrid working model with some home working.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant.
• Experience in a large, complex organisation with multi-site operations.
• Strong technical accounting and financial control background with commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a multi-disciplinary finance team.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for robust insights.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning with operational leaders.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to challenge and guide strategic objectives.
• Drive finance systems, processes and controls improvements.
• Ensure governance, statutory reporting, audit and internal controls.
• Support business initiatives and change programmes with financial leadership.
• Collaborate with leadership across functions to support growth.
