Job summary

Chiltern Recruitment is seeking an experienced Finance Business Manager to lead core financial planning, reporting and control activities for a client. This permanent role involves business partnering and managing a small finance team.

Hybrid working and office attendance required four days per month, with free on-site parking. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with strong FP&A, budgeting and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Proven managerial or team leadership experience.
• Budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• UK financial regulations and VAT knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and prioritise the work of the finance team.
• Oversee monthly management accounts, balance sheet reporting, cash flow and variance analysis.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and coordinate quarterly forecasting.
• Oversee payroll, cash flow and key financial models.
• Manage year-end activities, including audit preparation and documentation.
• Oversee VAT reporting and financial controls.
• Provide financial analysis and business partnering support to stakeholders.
• Maintain financial controls across reporting and data.
