Job summary

The Pilot Group in Manchester is seeking a Supply Chain Administrator to support ESL's global supply chain operations. Based in Central Manchester with hybrid working of three days in the office, you will handle documentation, ordering, logistics coordination and data entry to keep materials flowing.

You will liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams, manage import/export paperwork, and contribute to continuous improvement projects, ensuring accuracy and timely communication

Qualifications

• GCSE English & Maths at Grade C or above or equivalent.
• Experience in administrative, logistics, supply chain, purchasing or customer service roles.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare/import/export documentation per company and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor shipment progress and communicate updates.
• Maintain accurate supply chain records in ERP/system.
• Assist with PO administration, order confirmations and supplier communications.
• Support supplier/logistics performance reports and KPIs.
• Investigate issues and support resolution of delivery/logistics discrepancies.
• Coordinate urgent and same-day shipments when required.
